Max opted for an even short event, taking on the 800. He ran a smart race and also earned a PR. Max negative split a 2:07:36 good for 28th of 50 total participants.

Penn Relays Volunteer Opportunity
The Race Walk at the Penn Relays is in need of volunteers. The event is Saturday morning (April 28th) at 7 AM. Volunteers must arrive early for set up. A free day pass (good for Saturday)will be given to all who volunteer.
4 or 5 volunteers are needed to count laps in the 5k (HS, Men, and Women). Officials are also looking for a “runner” to manage red card distributions for penalties. This is a good opportunity to learn more about race walk and score a free ticket to Saturday’s Penn Relays!
Let us know if you would like to volunteer!
