Marathon Weekend Preview
Marathon Weekend is almost here and we couldn't be more excited!
PRTC will have more than 70 members racing the 8k, half, and full. We'll also be staffing the elite water stations for the marathon (sign up here if interested). Please remember to wear PRTC gear at all the events and keep an eye out for teammates. It's always easier to work together and hear friendly cheers out on the course!
There's not much to report in the way of results from last week, but be sure to check out Slack for Ethan Hermann's highly entertaining race previews and predictions!
In lieu of race results, please check out this last-minute guide to Marathon Weekend:
Bib pickup: Friday from 12 - 9 and Saturday from 9 - 5 at the PA Convention Center, Hall F. Look for the Elite Athlete Lounge located inside the expo hall on the right upon entering. Reference the email from the elite coordinator for additional info on bag check and race day instructions.
Saturday: The Half Marathon (click here for course) kicks off at 7:30 AM and the 8k (course map here) starts at 10:45. Post-race celebrations will be at Spin courtesy of Issa Run Crew. Invite here.
Sunday: The Philadelphia Marathon will begin at 7 AM. Course map viewable here. Look for PRTC racing, out on the course staffing the elite water stations or cheering/pacing! Check Slack for post-race details.
